To ensure maximum performance, it is important to never use a saddle valve to connect components. Instead, always utilize a 3/8" water line for proper installation. When installing the filter, make sure to place it vertically with the cartridge facing downward. Leave at least 2-1/2 inches (6.35cm) of space below the cartridge for easy replacement. Before use, remember to flush the 2CB5-GW cartridge by running water through the system at full flow for 5 minutes. This simple process will help guarantee clean, filtered water for your needs.

Proper Care: To ensure optimal performance, replace the filter cartridge every six months as part of a regular maintenance routine. The discharge rate should not exceed 0.5 gallons per minute (1.9 litres per minute). It is essential to clean the filter cartridge during installation and replacement for best results.
