The output ports support Audio Return Channel (ARC) from a compatible ARC TV and HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC) following the HDMI specification. The HDMI Switch provides an S/PDIF link from the HDMI signal and output through the ARC port to an AVR amplifier to get audio. The HEC feature adds a network connection to the HDMI link 100Mbps Ethernet connection.
