 All our anodes have a steel wire core that runs the full length of the anode and welded to the top of the nut.  

Be aware that some of 'cheaper' anodes don't have a steel core and the nut and anode rod can separate.

We use Australia Post parcel service. If you require anodes urgently, we have the option for you to select EXPRESS Post (for a small surcharge, or FREE if you are an EBAY PLUS member)

3. DO I NEED TAPERED OR NON TAPERED THREAD?

SOME SUBURBAN HOT WATER UNITS HAVE A DIFFERENT NUT/THREAD. WE STOCK BOTH TYPES, JUST NEED TO KNOW SO WE CAN SEND OUT CORRECT ANODES

Most SW6DEA use tapered thread, some will have a straight thread. It is critical to get the right thread as the two types are not interchangeable.

If you are not sure, Pull out existing anode and put a ruler along the thread.  If the thread tapers/slopes down towards the anode itself, this requires a tapered thread.  If the ruler STAYS parallel to the anode this is a NON tapered thread.****

If you are not sure, send us some photos of your old anode thread and we can help you work out which one you require.

Requires 27mm socket to remove and refit.

NOTE: Price is for FIVE (5) anodes.  Split costs with family/friends or have a spare for next time (Keep spare sealed in snap lock bag)

**TIP: Comes pre-fitted with plumbing tape but you may need additional plumbing tape applied depending on fitment**

**2 YEAR WARRANTY covers anode manufacturer, specifically the weld and construction of the steel nut***
