Genuine OEM tangential cooling fan motor for Delonghi 900mm freestanding stoves and built in ovens. This is the long barrel blower mounted above the oven cavity that draws cool air through the appliance and vents it out the front trim, protecting the surrounding cabinetry and the oven electronics. Fan barrel length approximately 360mm. Supplied as the complete motor and barrel assembly.

When To Replace

Replace the cooling fan motor when the oven fascia, control knobs or surrounding cabinetry become excessively hot, when there is no air movement from the vent above the oven door while the oven is on, when the fan rattles, hums or squeals, or when the fan runs only some of the time. A failed cooling fan lets heat build up behind the fascia and will damage the thermostat, the timer and the control wiring.

Fitting

Isolate the appliance at the wall before starting. Access is normally from the rear or from behind the control fascia depending on model. Note the orientation of the barrel and the wiring connections before removal, release the mounting screws or clips, fit the new assembly the same way round and reconnect. Fitting should be carried out by a qualified appliance technician.
