Clothes Dryer Drum Drive Belt - Heller And Rebadged Models

Replacement drum drive belt for Heller vented clothes dryers and the many rebadged versions of the same machine. The belt wraps the drum and is driven off the motor pulley through the idler. When it stretches, glazes or snaps the drum stops turning while the motor still runs, so the machine hums and heats but the clothes never tumble.

1915 mm effective length, multi rib poly V section, approximately 11 mm wide. Suppliers list this belt as both 6PH1915 and 1915 H7, so count the ribs on your old belt before ordering if you want to be certain of the match.

Symptoms Of A Failed Belt

• Motor runs and the dryer heats but the drum does not turn
• Drum turns by hand with no resistance at all
• Loud squealing or a burning rubber smell during a cycle
• Pieces of black rubber in the bottom of the cabinet

Fitting Notes

Unplug the dryer before you start. Note how the old belt runs around the drum, the idler pulley and the motor shaft before you remove it, and fit the new belt with the ribbed side against the drum. If you are not confident, use a qualified technician.
