Beko Washing Machine Water Inlet Valve

Genuine water inlet valve for Beko front load washing machines. This is the solenoid valve at the back of the machine where the hoses screw on - it opens on command from the control board to let water into the drum, and closes to stop it. It is a sealed assembly and is replaced as a complete unit.

Symptoms Of A Failed Inlet Valve

• Machine will not fill, or fills very slowly
• Machine keeps filling and will not stop - valve stuck open
• Water siphoning into the drum while the machine is off
• Loud buzzing or hammering from the back when the valve opens
• Fault code for a fill or water supply problem
• Water leaking from the valve body or the hose connection

Check First

Before condemning the valve, turn off the taps and check the inlet filter screens in the hose connections. A blocked screen gives exactly the same no-fill and slow-fill symptoms and costs nothing to clean.

Fitting Notes

Isolate the machine at the wall and turn off the taps before starting. Expect water in the hoses and the valve - have a towel ready. Photograph the wiring before you unplug the coils, as double and triple valves are easy to reconnect in the wrong order. All electrical work must be carried out by a qualified person.
