Euro Oven Multi Function Selector Switch

Genuine Euro Appliances multi function selector switch. This is the rotary switch behind the function knob that chooses bake, fan forced, grill, fan grill, defrost and the other cooking modes. When the contacts inside burn out the oven will run in some modes and not others, or in none at all, while the clock and light still work normally.

Symptoms Of A Failed Selector Switch

• Some cooking functions work and others do nothing
• Oven only heats in one position of the knob
• Knob turns but nothing changes, or the oven stays on regardless of position
• Burnt smell or scorch marks at the back of the switch
• Clock, light and fan still work, so the fault is not the power supply

Fitting Notes

Isolate the oven at the switchboard before you start. Photograph the wiring on the back of the old switch before you disconnect anything and transfer the wires one at a time. Check that the shaft length and the number of positions match your original. All electrical work must be carried out by a qualified person.
