Euromaid Oven Door Seal Gasket

Genuine Euromaid oven door seal gasket. This is the rope style seal that runs around the oven cavity opening and presses against the door. When it hardens, shrinks or comes loose the oven loses heat around the door, takes longer to reach temperature, cooks unevenly and can scorch the front of the cabinet or the benchtop above it.

Symptoms Of A Failed Door Seal

• Heat escaping around the oven door, the front panel gets very hot
• Oven slow to reach temperature or never quite gets there
• Uneven cooking, food browning on one side
• Seal is hard, brittle, flattened or has come out of its clips
• Discolouration or heat damage to the cabinetry above the oven

Fitting Notes

The seal locates into clips or hooks around the oven cavity opening. Let the oven cool completely, note how the old seal sits at the corners and where the joint falls before you pull it out, and fit the new one the same way so the join sits in the same place.
