This is the long horizontal rotor that runs the width of the indoor head - it draws air across the coil and pushes it out through the louvres. Fitting Notes

Isolate the unit at the isolator before starting. The head has to come off the wall bracket and the drain tray and coil have to be moved aside to release the barrel - it is not a front-panel job. Note which end carries the bearing and which takes the motor shaft before removing it. Clean the drain tray and the coil while the unit is open, since that is what the dust came off in the first place.
