Description

This Cooker Hood Air Flap is a genuine Hisense part. It is made from plastic and fits into the cooker’s air duct, known as a non-return valve. The air flap works to release air from cooking when the cooker hood is in use, preventing outside air and smells back in when the cooker isn’t in use. It is 150mm in diameter, allowing it to fit comfortably in the air duct.

How do you know if your Cooker Hood Air Flap 150 is broken or is not working correctly?

Your Cooker Hood Air Flap is working properly if warm air flows out of the outside vent, there are no unusual smells and the flap opens gently and quietly.

Why do they become faulty?

They can become faulty due to reasons such as grease and dirt build up, constant opening and closing the flap, hot temperatures from cooking and poor placement.

When should you get a replacement?

You should get a replacement when cold air or unusual smells come through the kitchen or there is grease build up that isn’t clearing.  If the flap is stuck or damaged and there are strange sounds coming from the air flap, this could mean it is loose or warped.
