Description

This guide plug is a genuine Hisense replacement. The plug is used as a stopper which helps to stop the upper and lower parts of the dishwasher rack from falling out. The plug helps to smoothly glide the wheels, whilst keeping within the track rails. Guide plugs are often found at the end of a upper or lower metal rack and are clipped on securely. This plug is made from a strong, heat-resistant plastic, meaning that they can withstand higher temperatures well. This guide plug is suitable for Hisense dishwashers only. 

What causes a Guide Plug to become faulty?

Over time, the plastic starts to become stressed, making the plug weaker and harder to work as efficiently. Constant exposure to heat, water and detergent can all cause the plastic to become brittle which makes it easier to crack.

When should you get it replaced?

You should consider a replacement when your racks feel unsteady, there are physical cracks, unusual noises or the rack tilts. Without replacement, your racks won’t be supported as effectively, making it easier to damage the rail.
