Keeps the door from accidentally opening so you’re safe from the dishwasher’s moving parts or hot water during the cycle. It starts or resumes washing only when the door is securely closed and locked. 

If the dishwasher doesn’t start and you hear clicking noises without the door locking, it may be due to a faulty latch or lock. Change it with this replacement part.

This pop-out door lock only fits Hisense dishwashers.
