Hisense & Gorenje Washer Dryer Combo - Drying Heating Element 1300W

This is the drying element from the dryer section of a Hisense or Gorenje washer dryer combination machine. It is a folded 1300W element that sits in the air duct and heats the air blown through the drum on the drying cycle. Hisense and Gorenje are the same group, so the part is sold under both badges - Gorenje number HK2024017.

Please check before ordering: This is the DRYING element, not the wash water heater. A washer dryer combo has two separate heating elements. If your machine will not heat the water on a wash cycle, that is a different part (on Hisense front loaders in Australia that is normally K1933068, which also ships with the NTC sensor). This element is the one to buy when the machine washes fine but will not dry. Nothing else is included - no NTC sensor, no gasket or seal, no clamp nut. On error codes: F15 (outlet dry air error) points at this drying element, a blocked outlet or the drying fan. F04 points at the wash element. F05 is the temperature sensor. Model numbers below are UK and European rating-plate strings - if you have an Australian-plated machine, send us your model and serial and we will confirm the fit before you order.

Fitting Notes
Isolate firstUnplug the machine at the wall before you start. This is a mains-voltage part.
AccessThe drying element is in the air duct, normally reached from the rear or top of the machine rather than through the tub. This is a different job to changing the wash element.
Check the duct firstA blocked lint filter or duct will give the same F15 error as a dead element and will also destroy a new element. Clear the airway before fitting.
Photograph the terminalsNote terminal orientation and lead routing before you disconnect anything.
Test before you buyA 1300W element should read roughly 40 ohms across the terminals. Open circuit means it has failed. Any continuity from either terminal to the sheath means it has failed and is dangerous.
Seat it properlyThe element must sit square in the duct and not touch the housing. A proud element will scorch the duct.
Qualified personMains wiring work should be carried out by a qualified person in accordance with local regulations.
