ILVE and Blanco Oven Function Selector Switch

Replacement multi function selector switch for ILVE and Blanco built in ovens. This is the rotary switch behind the function knob that selects bake, fan forced, grill, fan grill, defrost, pizza and the other cooking modes. When the internal contacts burn out the oven works in some functions and not others, or in none of them, while the clock, light and fan still behave normally.

Symptoms Of A Failed Selector Switch

• Some cooking functions work, others do nothing at all
• Oven only heats on one position of the knob
• Knob turns freely but nothing changes
• Oven stays on no matter which function is selected
• Burnt smell or scorch marks on the back of the switch body
• Clock, light and fan all still work, so the supply is fine

Fitting Notes

Isolate the oven at the switchboard before you start. Photograph the wiring on the back of the old switch before disconnecting anything and move the wires across one at a time. Check the shaft and the number of positions against your original. All electrical work must be carried out by a qualified person.
