KS33843 Main Drive Belt – Kleenmaid / Speed Queen Washing Machine

Genuine main drive belt to suit Kleenmaid and Speed Queen top loader washing machines. This is the belt that drives the transmission from the motor pulley – if the machine fills and drains but the agitator or drum will not turn, or you hear the motor running with no movement, the drive belt is the first thing to check.

Why the belt fails

Drive belts perish, glaze and stretch with age and heat. Common symptoms are a burning rubber smell, squealing on start-up, the agitator stalling under a heavy load, or the machine completing a cycle with the clothes still soaking. A stretched belt will often still move an empty drum but slip as soon as the machine is loaded, so test with a full load.
