Kleenmaid & Speed Queen Top Load Washing Machine Drain Hose - Electric Pump Models

This is the genuine Alliance Laundry Systems drain hose that runs from the electric drain pump out to the standpipe on Kleenmaid and Speed Queen top load washing machines. Alliance catalogue it as Hose, Drain (NDEP) (White Plastic). It is white ribbed plastic with the bend moulded into the hose, and it is the American-made original rather than a generic copy.

Please check before ordering: Two things to check before you order. First, this hose is for machines with an electric drain pump. These machines were also built in belt-drive and direct-drive drain configurations that use a different hose - identify your pump first. Second, and importantly: if your machine is a KAW393, KAW693 or KAW793, this is very probably NOT your hose. Many Australian sellers list those models against this part, but Kleenmaid's own KAW parts catalogue does not contain this part number anywhere, and Alliance assigns the KAW machines to a different drain hose, 39953. If you have a KAW machine, contact us before ordering and we will confirm which hose you need. This is a top loader part only - it does not suit the Kleenmaid front loaders (LTKA5, LTK95, LTKA6, LTK96) or the Gorenje, Bosch or Brandt built Kleenmaid machines.

Fitting Notes
Isolate firstSwitch off at the wall and turn off the taps before you pull the machine out.
Release the retainerUnhook the old hose from its retainer clamp at the cabinet before removing it.
Standpipe heightAlliance recommend a standpipe height of 914mm. Standpipes above 1220mm are not recommended.
Standpipe diameterIf your standpipe inside diameter is 51mm or less, fit standpipe adapter 36878.
Siphon breakIf the drain receptacle sits lower than the top of the cabinet, the siphon break kit 562P3 must be fitted or the machine will siphon and drain continuously.
Do not push the ribs inDo not push any ribbed part of the hose down into the standpipe. Secure it with the beaded strap about 300mm below the top of the pipe and tug test it.
Check for kinksMake sure the hose is not kinked or crushed when you push the machine back - this is the single most common cause of a repeat drain fault.
