LG Dryer and Washer Dryer Drain Hose Cap

Replacement drain hose cap for LG condenser dryers and washer dryer combos. This is the small screw or push cap that seals the end of the condensate drain hose behind the machine. Lose it or crack it and the machine will weep water down the back wall every time it condenses.

When to Replace the Drain Hose Cap

• Water trickling down the wall or pooling behind the machine after a drying cycle
• The cap has cracked, split or lost its thread and no longer holds
• The cap has been lost during a move or an install
• The seal has hardened and no longer grips the hose end

Fitting

No tools needed. Pull the machine out far enough to reach the drain hose at the back, have a cloth ready because there is usually a little water sitting in the hose, and fit the new cap onto the hose end until it seats. If your machine is plumbed to a standpipe instead of using the internal tank, the cap still needs to be in place on the spare outlet or it will leak.
