Before You Order - Check All Four

1. Gas type. Confirm the hose is rated for the gas you are on - LPG or natural gas.
2. Length. 900 mm. It must reach with slack, without being pulled tight or kinked when the appliance is pushed back.
3. Bore. 6 mm. Too small a bore starves the appliance and gives poor flames.
4. End fittings. 1/4 inch BSP female at both ends. Check what is on your appliance and at the gas point.

Safety - Read Before Ordering

Gas work is licensed work. In Australia a gas appliance connection must be made by a licensed gasfitter, who will fit the hose, leak test the connection and certify the installation. It is illegal and dangerous to connect a gas appliance yourself.

Gas hoses are a wear item with a service life. Have your gasfitter check the date and condition markings on the hose being removed, and confirm that any hose fitted carries current certification markings for the installation. Never fit a hose that is cracked, perished, kinked, stretched, or that has been painted over.

When To Replace

• Hose cracked, perished, hard or sticky to the touch
• Kinked, crushed or stretched from the appliance being pushed back
• Any smell of gas around the connection
• Hose beyond its marked service life
• Fittings corroded, or threads damaged
• Appliance being relocated and the existing hose will not reach safely
