| Notes | The motor features a double ferrite magnet motor, supporting high excursion with extra pole extender! This extra-long pole extension allows the voice coil to travel further without crashing and bottoming-out. Aluminium shorting rings for lowering and linearising the inductance of the over hung voice coil former. The heavy-duty black aluminium cone is vented inside under the dust cap, to reduce air compression. The suspension system features a low-creep rubber surround, and a Nomex™ spider, ensuring long-term reliability under high SPL. The speaker also features a double strength rigid cast aluminium basket. This model is over a decade old, but was designed for winning SPL completions with low distortion and offers incredible high linear SPL performance hard to beat. |
