Samsung Fridge Water Tank Dispenser Cock

Replacement water tank dispenser cock for Samsung french door and side by side refrigerators. This is the tap outlet fitting on the internal water tank that opens when the dispenser paddle is pressed and lets chilled water through to the dispenser spout.

When To Replace

Replace the dispenser cock when water drips continuously from the spout after dispensing, when flow is weak or stops altogether while the tank is full, when the cock leaks inside the fridge cavity, or when the fitting is cracked or the seal has perished.

Fitting

Turn off the water supply to the fridge and dispense a little water to release pressure before starting. Remove the internal water tank cover, release the cock from the tank outlet, fit the new one with its seal seated square and reconnect. Restore the supply, run several litres through and discard them, then check for leaks.
